Back to basics

I heard a statistic recently that said over 4000 churches close annually in the U.S. I was deeply saddened by this information and thought of the words of Jesus where He said, ”I will build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” I think that one of the reasons so many churches are closing is because they have gotten away from the basics found in Acts 2:41-42. I believe that though new in the faith these christian’s got it right by giving themselves to 4 basic things that made them so successful

  1. FAITH - V41 ”Then those who gladly received his word were baptized”

  2. THE WORD OF GOD - V42 “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine.”

  3. FELLOWSHIP WITH BELIEVERS V42” and fellowship and the breaking of bread.”

  4. CONSISTENT PRAYING V42” and in prayers.”

    I believe that we can see a renewal of divinely inspired spiritual growth in churches all across America if we will practice these things, and operate in divine love. I challenge you to go make your church a better place today!
