FACING A NEW YEAR

In Exodus 14 the children of Israel were stuck in between an impassable sea and a hardened Pharaoh. It seemed that the end was near, but God knew that this was only the end of the beginning. As you look at a new year ahead with all of its unknowns remember that God has a plan for you and the hardships you go through are necessary for something greater to happen that will bring blessing to you and glory to God. For the children of Israel the Red sea experience was the beginning of real freedom, complete victory over their enemies, and the beginning of a new revelation of who God was. Let’s not get so focused on the trials of life that we forget to remember who is in control of everything we face, and that He wants our walk with Him to be the greatest adventure we’ve ever embarked on!
